I purchased a digital thermostat in the winter and came to find that in the summer the cooling control didnt work. I was told "Thats electronics for you and the manufacturer will not give me credit for it". Lesson learned go to the big box stores where you save money and get service. I ended up contacting the manufacturer myself and they are replacing. When I bought this unit the ownersaid it would save money since it was programmable. Now I spent $75 for the thermostat, $150 for a service call, $247 for a thermostat from the HVAC guy, and $15 to ship the defective unit back myself.
